Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Feegal has diarrhea. Dental cause this?:(

Going to the vets at 5.00. He has not had anything to eat that is new. I just don't know where it has come from.

I am worried sick, as he has seemed quiet the last few days. I just put it down to the heat. But he has been unwell, he must have been...

What can it be, what causes a bun to be withdrawn, diarrhea but no loss of appetite, he still mugs me for food, he is eating his hay at the moment, and looks normal. he has some molar spurs but the vet saw him a couple of weeks ago and said check up in four weeks as they are not affecting him. He has had them for at least two months and they have not troubled him. Can this cause diarrhea??? I always get his dentals done too soon in the vets opinion. This is the first time it has been left for a length of time.

Aghh, I don't know what to do/think:cry:

He keeps asking for breakfast but I cant give him any. He looks really sad/tired:cry: He is still eating hay and running from the gate to his cage though:?

Poor Feegal. :( I don't know what could be the cause - some bunnies have been affected by the heat recently, including episodes of runny poo, so it could be heat related.

If he's eating hay still, that's a good sign - if he wasn't I would have suggested trying to get an earlier vet appt for him.

Sending lots of vibes. xx

Thank you, I am half hoping he needs a dental as I hate knowing those spurs are in there waiting to cause trouble.

Believe me if Feegal ever refuses food I would get him to the vet ASAP. I have never meet such a greedy animal in my life:)

My rabbit has had a similar problem in the last few days. Just got back from the Vet and it is a slowed gut and diarrhea. He is eating and drinking though! Poor little bunnies. I hope feegal feels better soon X

Aww poor feegal :( I hope he is ok, and that it is just the heat affecting his tummy, my bunnies have been quite quiet in the heat too but luckily it seems cooler today. Best of luck at the vets later x
