when does a kit do each thing

Hi can any one tell me where to find imfo on new babies? i have no idea what age they open eyes come out the nest ect. or if any one could tell me what happens at each stage.

about 10 days old they open eyes
2 weeks + they usually leave the nest and start nibbling food
6 weeks usually off the milk now
8 weeks + can be seperated from mum and rehomed

idealy you should be checking the nest every day for dead kits, especially if you suspect there might be some.

ok vets told me not to touch the nest as she will kill them all and not remove the daed ones. i have removed three dead and know of one alive. so i should be checking>
