Cherry twigs safe or unsafe?

I've read in some lists that they are safe, and in some that they are unsafe, so I'm confused now. Who should I believe? My rabbits have cherry twigs among others, but they seem not to have had any adverse reaction to them, when they don't ignore them completely.

I thought I read that wood from any tree with a fruit which has a stone in shouldn't be given as it contains a bit of arsenic. I'm not sure though.

the sap of stone bearing fruits trees is apparently toxic so id go with very unsafe when fresh. dunno about when its dried out but i wouldnt risk it myself
