The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Timmys abit snuffly :(

Hi,
Timmys been sneezing more than usual. Its mostly when he's nuzzling around in his hay so I put it down to hay fever or the hay being the last of last years so being a little dustier than usual.
But now its been going on for a couple of weeks Im getting worried and taking him to the vets on Monday.
His eyes are clean and hes eating, drinking, pooping and as lively as usual. Mimi also has the odd sneeze when shes hay nuzzling but not as much as Timmy. She'll be coming along to the vets aswell for a check up.
Any ideas?
My main concern is that its somehow related to the inner ear infection that Mimi recently had

Good luck at the vets. Frankie had this and he had a lower respiratory infection and is still on a long course of antibiotics. I do hope it is just hay fever.

How did they diagnose this? Did he have any other symptoms eg coughing or was it just the sneezing?

It was sneezing and he was breathing heavily they checked is chest and he was a bit rattly. If your bun is just sneezing hopefully it could just be dust in the air affecting him.

God I hope so, he's my little angel boy :(
Been researching respiratory infections coz this is what I suspected it could be too. The thing Im worried about is that sneezing can be caused by the same bacteria that can cause ear infections and head tilt which my bun Mimi has just gotten over. And apparantly it can be highly contagious :?

The comforting thing is that his eyes are clear and bright and theres no discharge coming from his nose so Im trying to stay optimistic (although of course to be honest am still very worried )
