Ola!

Im thinking about registering my 2 buns at the Edinburgh University Vet School, anyone elses bun a patient there?

I couldnt type the actual name as the forum thinks its a swear word!

Thanks!

Im only a 20 min drive from there & I thought id give my buns 1st class medical care!

My horse has been there & I think theyre great! Atleast I know that im giving them the best care EVER!

I don't use them as I don't live there, but I know people who do and they say the people there are fantastic :)

your so lucky.. im not sure how far away we will be as im the brummie but Ste reakons we will be close enough :D:D his mom lives in Dalkeith so we are aiming to live somewhere there.. hope its close :lol:

Dalkeith isnt far from there! Id say 20-30min drive!

It seems to make sense registering with them as if buns got ill, theyd be sent there anyway!

Ok im going to call them today & get my little Prince & Princess on their books!:)

My buns are! Very good if you're not too concerned about vet students being in on appts sometimes

OT: I live just outside Dalkeith! The surrounding countryside is lovely.

OMG, the people there are lovely! Had the most cheeriest person register the buns via phone, it makes such a difference!

Fingers crossed they can fix Sookies front teeth......imagine they invented rabbit braces! How cute!

I'm sure they'll be in great hands - I don't know who else is there but both Brigitte Lord (Reusch) and Anna Meredith are there and they are hugely competent bunny clinicians :)

I've just seen this thread - we took our bridge bunny Rosie to the D1ck (;)) Vet School for treatment. We live in the west of Scotland, so it was as a specialist referral, but I'd love to live close enough to actually have my bunnies registered there!

There's an excellent team there - really top rabbit vets as Santa mentioned. We saw Emma Keeble when we were there and she was fab.

That would be amazing, wouldn't it? People who live close to specialist/exotic vets are so lucky! Not that I couldn't move, but deciding where to live on the basis of a vet practice might be a bit extreme!

Yeah, it would be amazing to live that close. When we went there, I must admit it hadn't really occurred to me that you could register with them as your 'regular' vet.

And then we had the "ooh, we could move and live really close by" conversation too! Not practical for us unfortunately!
