Can anyone recommend good 'nail' clippers?

Young Bun
Hi there. The subject line says it all really. I would like to get a good pair of clippers to keep my rabbits claws nice and trim. Anyone recommend a good website or brand? Thanks!

With 8 buns I had the same problem and tried different bunny clippers but with buns ranging from nethie to french they wouldn't cope with strong nails so in desparation I used the one we use for the dogs with great success even on the nethies :D

They do the Guillotine style too which are good, but I find the clippers are the best, comfy to use and have a removable guide to limit how much you trim off.

Hope that helps?

Thanks everyone - it looks like you have all recommended the same pair of nail clippers. I will buy them today and hopefully the rabbits will have lovely nails by the weekend.

we tried some different ones over the years....but we found these to be the best and comfy to use...AND they can even cope with berties nails...frenchie nails are hooooge!! right down to little bifs dainty nails.
btw bifs toes are twisted so are her nails...being confined..long nails etc for 18 months before being rescued.
merlins are twisty too for same reason. but he wasnt abused too.

they are brill......

my mums bun has fine toenails and theyre brill all round clippers...and cheaper than the mikki ones!!

I have the ones that have a rabbit shaped holder (except I have the guinea pig ones as I really needed them that day and they didnt have the rabbits ones.
But for the love of god I CANNOT cut Selina's claws :( -sigh-

Ahhhhh... Those latter clippers look good, but I placed an order for the Mikki ones from Vet UK yesterday. Will let you know how i get on. Annie Bunnie is very good at keeping still, especially for a bum wash, but Terry can be a real pickle....
