So, after Fliss's problem last Saturday, Tim's decided it's his turn for the limelight! Not eating this am so I'm trying the infacol, metacam route before we take him to the emergency vet. Vibes...

Gosh you really are in the wars at the moment arent you. Maybe he saw Fliss and Rog both getting treated and decided he wanted some attention too. Hope it goes well at the vets

Thanks.:D I'll give it an hour before I take him. The trouble is that I'll have to take him all the way to Chester Gates as our lot no longer do local out of hours. I might just take him to a nearer one if I can find one open!

Arghhhh they really do pick their times dont they. If you go to Chester Gates and are waiting around for a bit you are welcome to pop over for a coffee :D

Sending sweet Tim lots of eating vibes. Hope the infacol works Hilda. These bunnies are really keeping you on your toes this week.

Well, surprise, surprise:roll: Timmy needs a dental. I suspected as much as he'd reached the grand old age of almost 8 before needing his first which was only about 2 months ago. He's staying in there so that he can be monitored and syringe fed till his GA tomorrow morning.

So sorry about the late update. The news is good:D. The vet rang yesterday afternoon to say that Tim had pinched some of her banana when she went to check him at lunchtime:roll:, then he demolished his pellets and set about the hay!! She wasn't sure if it was just that the painkillers had kicked in so asked if I still wanted him to stay in so that his "output" could be monitored. She also asked if I minded if she got a 2nd opinion re his teeth from her colleague who's an exotic specialist. He examined him this morning and said that IHO he'd leave the dental for the time being because although he has 2 molar spurs they aren't of a size that would be causing him any pain at the moment, and as he had a dental under GA just a few weeks ago, he didn't want to do another GA on him unless it was totally necessary. I brought him home(Tim, not the specialist!!) this afternoon and he's still eating!! I can go back in 2 weeks for a follow-up check (free) and they'll check the progress of the spurs. The Emergency, out-- of -hours consultation fee was only £5.00 more than the normal consult fee at my other vet.....
