How do you attach an aviary to a shed?

Silly question, but if the aviary is 6ft tall how do you attached it to the side of a shed that i'm guessing isnt 6ft tall? Surely there'll be a gap??

I made a small panel to block off the space above the shed and then used metal brackets to join the two together
