Hi all,

Colin has a little patch under his chin which is starting to look a little matted... Its only a small patch but he wont let me get under his chin for me to have a look...

Should I be woried or should i just keep an eye and see how it goes?

Thanks, katie

Does he have a water bowl? I had a bun who developed something similar because she kept getting her front wet.

Dribbling could be teeth?

Yes. Does Colin have a history of dental issues?

They do also have a scent gland under the chin, and buns that drink from water bowls may also get a damp chin - although mine do it dries very quickly and is never matted.
I'd get his teeth checked. :)

Thanking. He was checked over not long ago and his teeth have been fine. he does have a water bowl so it might be that - ill try and have a closer look at it if hell let me... Thanks :-D

I would definatley get him back to the vet. Some spurs right at the back cant be seen when bun is conscious.

Saying that when Feegals teeth are OK he still has a damp patch sometimes. I guess he is just a dribbler:?

Good luck!

my buns have water bowls and two of them have a matted bit underneath which never bothers them. Always worth getting checked out though.
