Mice & Bunnies

Ok, a mouse has just nearly given me a heart attack :evil:

I went out to the boys aviary, and it shot down off the top of one of the runs!

I never leave food in there, and the boys have always finished their pellets early on. I know he's been around before as he leaves droppings, but I've never seen him in the daylight before.

Would it be safe to put a bait box on top of the runs? I don't want to hurt the buns in any way, but their aviary is close to the house, and I can't bear the thought of a mouse getting indoors.

Any ideas?

A fieldmouse used to live under my rabbit's hutch when I was younger, they seemed to get on really well!

I think as long as you use one of the humane ones, it will be ok for your buns and better for the mouse. I've never used one though so please somebody correct me if I'm wrong!
