Big Daddy Buttercup
Big Daddy, that’s me, with my three little boys,
I’m the ‘mum’ of my family group.
I keep them in check, my three little boys,
Together we make quite a troupe.
No so long ago now, when the babies were small,
I was classed as a jolly big bun.
Now two of my boys have long since outgrown me,
I am almost the littlest one!
I still mother my lads, though they’re near fully grown,
I will keep them in check if they squabble.
And we still cuddle up in a big bunny pile,
For a groom and a kiss and a cuddle.
(Buttercup wrote this before the boys split into 2 pairs - Blackberry is now as big as Buttercup, and Clover and Dandelion are waaay bigger!)
