need lock/bolt advice

This is the lift-up lid of buzz's run and i need to be able to fasten it down with bolts. Only prob is, I don't know what kind of bolts to look for. There was a bolt that stator mentioned before but I think that the width of the edges which need to come together are too short.

Any suggestions?

Thanks! So I probably need a smaller/shorter one of those...that fits on the edges?

I'm so bad at spatial reasoning in my head, I can't imagine things 3D etc...
