These are my beautiful buns that I've adopted from Kirkby Some had been continually overlooked through various health/behaviour problems
This is Tilley (lionhead) and Harry, I adopted them in September, Tilley had been in the rescue for a couple of years, (she's thought to be about 5) she has major dental problems and has to have regular dentals, she also had head tilt, but has fully recovered, she absolutely adores Harry
Harry had only been in the rescue a week, but his incisors were very overgrown, he has them clipped every few weeks, but it's becoming more regular and so he's been booked into have them removed in June
Maverick, he'd had 3 homes before arriving at Kirkby because he was aggressive, he has bit me twice, but he's calmed down and now he's a lovely cuddle bun and is going to be bonded with Twinkle
Barney - the drawmaster He was in stassis and very poorly when I had a phone call from Celia, he pulled through and is now very much at home:lol:
This is Babs and Buster who belong to my daughter Babs is a dental bun, and no one wanted poor Buster because he's a plain Agouti who's a little overweight
Babs
Buster
I have 9 bunnies and only 2 don't have dental problems. It's so sad that they get overlooked because of their problems or because they're the wrong colour It was so rewarding today seeing all these buns happy and playing, I know a lot of rescues are finding it hard to rehome dental buns, so please next time you are thinking of adopting, look at the ones that have been in the rescues the longest, they deserve a forever home too
