You can contact the show via this page

I saw this in the Metro this morning, I then proceeded to educate my collegues on why it makes me so .

It's now also in the Times and Telegraph. (The former has an online 'comment' facility).

Why do people find it so amusing to tip buns upside down.

How can a vet quote totally inaccurate information. We need to comment on each newspapers thread. Ill email too

Disappointing that a vet seems to approve so enthusiastically in the article. Suggests she isn't really a rabbit vet.

He says he keeps 50 rabbits, which is a bit worrying. I am a bit surprised at the papers picking this up as it wouldn't take much research to see that 'trancing' is frowned upon in most animal circles. It's annoyingly presented as a novelty story - the man who can hypnotise rabbits - when it's nothing of the sort. Unfortunately it will probably lead some owners to try it, not realising they are stressing their pet.

:evil:He's a BRC District Advisor.

http://www.thebrc.org/area5c.htm

He also gives talks in the area about rabbits. The blurb for these advertises him as "our local rabbit man with extensive knowledge and many years experience of breeding rabbits of all shapes and sizes."

not to be rude but in the papers it doesnt metion the BRC so they would have little to do with it.
i dont agree with turning them upside down unless in extreme cases where it would protect the person and or the rabbit from harm but i fail to see where it mentions the brc?

Just emailed this to the RWAF

The recent media coverage of a so called 'Rabbit Whisperer' makes me both concerned and angry. I can just imagine Pet Rabbit owners doing 'tricks' with hypnotising their Bunny........

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article7097862.ece

To make matters worse the Vet (Fiona Rawlings, of the Rock View Veterinary Surgery in St Austell), who calls on the services of this 'Rabbit Whisperer' seems to be a tad misinformed re the use of Tonic Immobility in Rabbits............

Perhaps the RWA could take up this issue....
