Other than apple, and untreated pine what are safe woods for rabbits to chew on? Now Stella is inside he can't destroy his run all the time anymore so I need to provide some wood for him to chew on.
I know for degus hawthorn and apple were fine, but there was a lot of woods they couldn't have that other animals could.
I heard willow was okay... but does this apply to all willow species? We have a willow hanging over from next doors garden but it's kind of... curly... not a weeping willow. I'm not sure which kind it is.
Oh, and is beech okay? There's a hedge between mine and next doors I could steal some branches from.
Any I use will be cleaned/disenfected then "cooked" in the oven for a bit.
