Would it be acceptable to use chicken wire ( the good plastic coated stuff) for the roof of a run? We've got some we can use, otherwise completion of the run will have to wait until next payday.
- the sides are proper mesh - about the only good thing I can say about the run I bought and have now dismantled and used the parts to build my own
Having had our little greenhouse ( complete with trays of 'bunny greens') blow over twice in 12 hours, I am reluctant to have a solid roof on the run in case the whole thing becomes airbourne ! How about tarpaulin on a lightly weighted frame, over the mesh, so it can act as a sort of 'safety valve' and blow off without damaging the run ?
