Young Bun
Hey Guys (not sure if this should be here or in bonding - please move if its in the wrong place, sorry)
I had my little baby boy castrated 2 weeks ago as I got him a wifey! She’s not spayed as of yet, I am getting her done once she settled into her new home – didn’t want to completely stress her out with the long journey home AND a trip to the vets to be spayed!
I asked my vets how long I needed to wait until I could put them together, I was told by them ten days.
I’ve now gone away and done loads more research and I’ve come across lots of people saying little boys can stay fertile up to FOUR weeks after theyve been castrated!
Little worried now, as I got him castrated for a few reasons, but one of them being no babies!
Now, what really are my chances of her being pregnant? And when will I know?
I hate it when people who don’t know anything about their pets have unwanted litters and now I am in the same boat. Grr!
Obviously if she is pregnant I will have to cross that bridge, but if the vets were right (which im hoping) and ten days is enough then thats perfect and fine. Just having a little worry as I don’t want to be completely shocked if she was to have babies.
Feel a bit stupid and a bit annoyed!
Thanks for ‘listening’
