Hi!:)

Just wondering if buns get hic-cups?

I know they cant burp or vomit......but hic-cups?

Ive noticed that both Indiana & Arrabella have had what seemed like hic-cupc for a short time...different days.....and not for long either.

Whats new in their diet:
Cabbage - sml. amount each depending on their poos!:D

Increase of pellets - as they seemed desperate and read on here that young buns should have unlimitted? They are almost 11 weeks old.
Ive just increased not given unlimited as I want to make sure they eat lots of hay!

New hay - went from medium bale P@H to bale of meadow hay.

Carefresh! Which Ive now only used in their wee areas....and Indian still digs to eat!

Newspaper - Indiana again Im afraid now eating the newspaper too!

Sooo....a few changes I guess.....

Im gathering their tums should feel soft & squidgy...just so i know?

Anyones elses buns had hic-cups?

thanks! xxxx:)

Yes, bunnies can het hiccups. :):)

Have you tried a layer of hay over whatever you use in the litter trays? Bunnies like to eat and poo at the same time, so hopefully they will eat the hay rather than the carefresh or newspaper. :)

oh good! :lol::lol::lol:

I thought oh no! They ate too much bedding! lol1

Ive layered 2 layers of hay on top of newspaper and Indiana just digs for the carefresh - they were fine with shavings! :(
Not sure what to do - so just put newspaper down, then carefresh ONLY where they wee & loads of hay so they cant SEE it! lol! She doesnt mind digging where she wee'd and still eating the carefresh! Now shes also decided to shred & EAT the newspaper!

aaaargh! She didnt care for the shavings though!
Do like to have something to absord the wee else its damps through the hay where they sitting....not sure what to do...:?
Plus just newspaper & hay - is it soft enough for them?

Just realised this has now become a eating bedding & bedding question! Sorry!:oops:

xxxxx Thanks about the hiccups!:lol:
