Where did it come from?

A guy has them the other side of the farm, they keep escaping  cant say we're too thrilled when the ponies are out and start going mad, my sisters 12'3 welsh pony cleared the five bar gate one time. He was traumatised for ages after.

Ive looked at some pics and although the guy says its a rhea im sure its an emu :?

i was thinking it was an emu :?

Can you not complain about them escaping?

Edit - just typed in the names in google and it looks more like an emu than a big Rhea.

I suppose it could of been worse, you could of opened your curtains one morning and found it staring into the window  That happened to my friend once, but with a goat :?

Yes we've complained loads of times, he just keeps apologising... i found a giant green egg in the back field two weeks ago too!

Definitely an Emu. The eggs are usually quite a dark green, compared to a Rhea's yellowish egg. I'll swap you your Emu, for a really annoying Wood Pigeon?

That is certainly an emu. Here is a picture of one near where I live. There are two of them and they share a paddock with two horses and an alpaca.:)
