i know that chipmunks can or so ive read..

but in the last 24hrs ive come down with a right stinking cold and im a bit worried about passing it on to Pearl when i give her the meds.

I hope not!! Ive got a sneezy/snotty cold...... and Winter sneezed when she was scoffing hay.... I hope it was only a bit of dust up her nose or something!!

The answer is a big fat no!

I had swine flu last year and posted on here and I think a GP got back to me and said it wasn't possible! xx

Giunea Pigs can too.

Rabbits can catch the cold sore virus from humans so if you get a cold sore when you have a cold dont kiss your Bunneh !!

I've heard that about guineas too, but mine have never got one from me. It is their genetic closeness to humans that means they have been used for scientific testing
