Hiya!

It's great that you're asking about it instead of taking chances - it's always better safe than sorry. Even though they're indoor buns they will need to have both the vaccines, which are 'Myxomatosis' and 'VHD' immunisations. Both these diseases are lethal. The myxi one doesn't exactly guard against myxi, but it will mean that should your bunny fall ill with it, they can be treated with every chance of recovery. This needs to be given 6 monthly. The VHD vaccine will totally prevent the disease. This is done annually.

Hello

Agree with the advice given. I have 2 house rabbits and they are vaccinated twice a year against myxi and yearly against VHD.

Pleased you are taking an interest in you bunnies health

Hi,

I am getting two new buns which are babies, Currently only about 3-4 weeks old. I will only be getting them in about 3-5 weeks time when they are ready to leave their mum but wanted to know how old they should be for their first vaccine?
