I have bought him as a male, however, having been on a hamster forum, people seem to think, he is a she :? he is a long haired hammy, and as a male should have a skirt around his bottom, like Archie did who went to Nicola, but he doesn't and is definately not showing outward signs of being a male if you, er, see what I mean. Worst still, he was housed with two other definate males.

No Baby vibes please, either that or plum dropping vibes ;)

Lots of vibes hoping he/she isnt pregnant
& lots of vibes hoping his plums drop

Its lethal in P@H, if I'd had the space I'd have come home with 2 buns and a guinea pig today, in the adoption centre! I felt really bad for the blue rex female, knowing the problems they can get- I hope she gets a knowledgable home for her type.:(
Glad the hammy has a good home now.:)

i agree about the lethalness! Id have come home with a little black lop by the name of sooty and another bun named max ( i have no idea what breed he was). Both were in the adoption centre, but my o/h spotted me talking to the staff and pretty much dragged me out by my hair :(

Hai is a lovely little hammy! so cute!:love:

I can't help looking, but know I shouldn't because I get upset about the poor animals.

He is a cutie, love his markings. How did you come to choose his name, it is nice but unusual, does it mean something else in another language etc?

What a cutie! I didn't know about the 'skirt', I had a supposed male with this too. Luckily he was all by himself. Sending plum vibes

There was a rex in my local P@H yesterday, I soooo wanted to take her home. If only she'd been a he... And a lovely long-haired piggie.

They also had rabbit pens with no hay, and one water bottle for 6 buns, which three of them were jostling for. I mentioned them to a member of staff and I got a look, then was told someone would look into it. Yeah right. :?

Plus, on my way out I heard someone say "she just keeps buying things for the rabbits, she bought broccoli for them the other day for :censored: sake. They only need pet food." Then left with sawdust, cleaner, pellets and no hay. :(

I try and not grumble about 'that shop' but I was really upset when I left yesterday.

he is a cutie though how could you not take him.
i was in p@h checking out this female bunny in the adoption centre she was beautiful well anyway while i was doing that my mum was looking round and some man (customer) saw her looking came over and said that if she was looking for a bunny hes got two at home hes trying to get rid of as he brought them as a male female and instead there male male and he says its like brokeback mountain in his house. mum also said his kids were choosing a rabbit they wanted. well when she told me i was looking for him to tell him he needed to neuter them but i couldnt find him :( anyway it really annoyed me bcuz they were looking at more pets yet trying to sell his other two. well anyway if i had have found him i would have been coming home with 2 bunnies

louise, what time where you in there? elk mill? i was there...erm...probably around 1:30 being totally sensible and not buying the beautiful grey and white hammy i fell in love with....

i saw someone buying a little grey lionhead and went silently nuts, on the grounds that no-one should keep rabbits except me...??????????? i'm becoming obsessed.

Well I am just lucky I didn't come home with anything larger. There is a cashmere lop who is struggling with the wood chippings that they use on the floor. Shame he was male, I just hope he goes to a good home.

It means Sea in Chinese. As in wait and see!!:lol:

No I go to Ashton, as it is easier to get to on the bus.
