I have had a terrible week.
Peter needed GA for his teeth and he is fine.
Honeys teeth were so bad that she stopped eating. The vet would operate without blood tests which were ok. He operated and then she wouldnt eat or do anything, she really was bad and he suggested pts. we perservered and now she is nibbling on her own again. i think her mouth is still sore but she is looking and behaving much better. we are still syringing her oxbow fine blend and she really likes baby food which she is eating all on he own.
Flippy had an emergency op to remove sludge from his bladder. He is a netherland dward and really nervous of anyone except me and his partner floppy. the vet was really worried that i would not be able to care from him after his op but he is doing ok.
The thing now is i need to find a good quality low calcum pelleted food.
Excel is 0.9%, and oxbow is 0.85%. can anyone suggest anything else.
they do have a good deal of hay and greens and veggies. unfortunatley they cant graze as my garden is so muddy and wet this time of year and i have ducks who havent helped. i do feed readygrass to the buns though.
