Wise Old Thumper
Oliver didn't eat his pellets yesterday morning, so went for a dental (he's less than a year old and has never needed a dental before). He had a couple of small spurs, but nothing major. The vet gave him some rimadyl and said to call tomorrow (i.e. today) if he still wasn't eating his pellets.
Well...overnight he has pooped and has eaten quite a bit of readigrass, but he's still not interested in pellets (I've tried him on different 3 types, and have even tried soaking them).
Interestingly, he seems to have lost his litter training and has peed rather a lot on the floor of his hutch.
We're at the vets later, but does this sound like it could be a urinary tract infection? Or are dental problems still more likely?
