Ramp substitute ideas?

My new 6'x2'x2' 2 storey hutch just arrived I wanted to remove the ramp to create extra space in the bottom level.... i was thinking maybe a shelf or two to hop up or a box or something? Has anyone else done this and if so what option did you use? suggestions or advice welcome!

Most young agile rabbits can probably clear the 2ft without a ramp
Mine all have ramps and jump halfway up them to begin with.
