New House & bed - UD pics of house added

I've just had this new house delivered & I think my rabbit must be tiny as it's advertised for dwarf buns - It seems huge in comparison to a lot of wooden houses I've seen (that should really be for gpigs) lol

The main thing is the entrance hole as it's larger than most houses.. & it's also quite deep - I can't wait to build it up & try it out

I've also got a new bunny bed.. it's also a lil large

The little house looks great. I was looking for something similar for Bluebell's run for the summer to act as a shelter. Like the hay rack inside it. Will you post some pics once you have built it up? Be interested to see the size in comparison to your bunny. Bluebell is a mini lop so she is quite small. :D

neat little kennels

We found a neat little wooden 'hut' on short legs, with a lifty-uppy lid and a drop-down front door that doubles up as a ramp. I can't remember the brand, but I think it cost £26 when I bought it. I think I've seen it at £29 in the same pet place I got it. I can probably go and look for you next week if you want me too, but this week is too mad. It isn't done as a cutesy house though - but solid and decent.

Pics of my existing house & new house :)

I can say that Phillip approves as he goes inside the new house & adores sitting on top of it.. & chewing it

It's a self build but is easy with wood glue & dowels.
I didn't think it would be very sturdy as it's made of fairly thin wood but once built it's solid & with the lid on is very sturdy.
The lid lifts right off but I might consider buying a couple of small hinges so I can just tilt it back to fill with straw.

Original house.. the doorway is small & Phillip 'squeezes' into it - he doesn't go inside very often: cost about £18.00

The new house.. bigger & deeper with a bigger doorway, removable roof & a hay rack (which you could leave out as it's self build).
