Finlay: Why is Phillip ignoring me, I wanna play :(
Phillip: All I want is 5 minutes peace.. is that too much to ask for?

Phillip's not really grumpy  but he looked soo mad in some of the photos that I just had to play on it.. the lil darling :lol:

He's lovely:love: and his toys are immaculate! They must be new? My bunnies destroyed their carrot patch in what seemed like minutes!

haha yup, he's very spoiled

He really doesn't mind the cats in his pen either, he seems to enjoy their company

Phillip's had those toys since christmas - he's chewed the straw off part of the carrot patch but otherwise he isn't really bothered (just has an occasional nibble).
I give him toiletroll tubes stuffed with hay.. he plays & eats the hay & leaves the tubes

Great pics and that cage area is huge! I'm sure he's enjoying it.

Can't wait for you to meet Jessica. Shes a little sweety and spent 10 minutes last night licking my hands

I'm sure Phillip will just love her ;)

Thanks Vicky, I'm really proud of my cats too.

They haven't been territorial or aggressive at all.. just curious.. & of course 'cos they're still kittens they want to play :lol:
Philip's not too keen on rough play though & they've learnt (by one or two well placed nips) to keep their claws in & be gentle.

& I can't believe Philip's not at all territorial with them either, I know I had the cats 1st but he's never shown any aggression except when they've scratched him.
He'd even let them in his cage if I let them... & they have tried a few times.
I caught Finlay in Phillip's wooden house in his cage yesterday.. & Phillip was hapily munching hay in his littertray.. in the same cage

I'm sure you know this, but be really careful with cat scratches. He could easily get an infection from the dirt and containments under the claws. Best to keep rough play out of the equation! :D

Awww!! :D

Sounds like they have alot of fun together
my dog tries to play with the buns in the garden but she just nudges them and they dont understand :lol::lol:

i love it when animals get on greatly with each other :D

uhuh :)
Bun's skin is a lot more delicate than a cats, or ours even :)

I got their claws clipped last week for that reason & I always have a water spray close to hand, just in case - but I haven't needed it for a while

I still don't let them out together unsupervised yet though

Awwwwww

I have the same thing too, Phillip nudges Corky & then Corky licks his head.. but when he does the same to Finlay, Finlay lies down
I'm not sure either of them are doing what Phillip wants, but he likes Corky grooming him

The funniest thing though is watching Phillip & Finlay play 'chase'
Phillip will run out of the room closely followed by Finlay.. & when they come back Finlay is being 'chased' by Phillip

Lovely new area for him. Love your cats too. :D

Thanks honey :)

Phillip had a run for when I wasn't there to supervise freerange with my cats - but this is a new one & much bigger.. & the space he's in now will be used to create a double condo for Phillip & his new wifey Jessica when she comes home

:thumb: I guessed you'd know!

Our family cat (mums house) would play with Ted. He'd NEVER have his claws out, and would treat him like a (really large) kitten. I'd always be right there, and would stop it happening, just in case, but it was very cute to see! :D

Usually I wouldn't trust cats with buns, but seeing as Ted was as large as Solomon (who is very large himself) I gave him more leeway that I ever did with Hugo and Rose (smaller bunnies). Solomon ignored Ted most the time, and would give the HAYOOGE black thing a wide birth!:lol::lol:

LMAO :lol::lol:
Solomon sounds adorable

You do know yourself if your animals are compatible or not though, generally. I think a lot depends on their temperament & the boundaries that you set for them too.
When I introduced the cats & Phillip I treated it like a slow bonding process & went at Phillip's pace - & @ 1st I didn't allow them to interact except through the bars of Phillip's cage or run.. had mesh over the top to stop them getting in.
It's worked for these anyway so I'm going to try the same process for Jessica when I bring her home & see how everyone responds

I'm sure they'll be fine with her. If they're fine with Phillip then there's no reason for them not to be. :)
