should i worm a guinnie pig??

he has been living rough for a few weeks in a barn, do you think i should worm him or not:?

I wouldn't neccessarily worm him but you might want to check his skin and coat for any mites/lice etc.

I would give him a bath - gorgeous guineas do great producs

Just had a look on a few piggie sites and they recommend worming with panacur

also if he has been living rough I would make sure he gets a good supply of fresh veggies everyday as there might be a tendancy towards scurvy if they dont get enough vit c each day.

Have you rescued him? are you keeping him? have you got a name for him?

Do you know how to check for mites? Have you been able to check the length of his nails?
