Where to put heat pad?

Have just bought a Snugglesafe heat pad for my mini lop. Where is the best place for me to put it? He often seems to sit on top of his bedding area at night but I don't really want to put it on there as ideally I want to encourage him to go inside his bed in the straw in this cold weather. Should I put it in his bed on top of or buried in the straw?

Is that where he does his 'business' too? If so I would put it just outside.

No he has a litter tray in another corner which he is very good with and normally uses.

Then yes in his bed area under the straw sounds good

I put my buns heat pad up the top of their hutch in the enclosed area. xx

I always put mine under the hay in his bedding .
