I think the above is a good price as I *think* I've usually seen them at about 16/17??

Anyhow, some of you could well be interested:

http://www.vetuk.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=250

A money saving tip also - their free postage threshold is 15 so if you are buying one Snugglesafe only why not order something like Panacur so you pay for that instead of postage :thumb:

If your buying, can you go via the link on Fife Rabbit Rescue to let the rescue get 5% of the sale? Thank you. www.fiferabbitrescue.co.uk

I have got 2, they are great in that they will take the shape of the bunny with hay or a towel over it, but they are no good if you plan to use them outside as they dont retain the heat.

Anther thing to consider is infection control as if it is wee'd on it will soak into the contents. Not something you want to be then heaing up in your kitchen microwave.

Thank you for this - - I was going to order one from elsewhere recently at 17. I bought some Panacur at the same time for forthcoming buns'. I don't have any outdoor pets at the moment but I've been wanting to get one for a while in case anyone is poorly.

I went via Fiferabbitrescue. :D

:cry::cry::cry: What a shame :cry:

I hope they get some more in soon. Perhaps they bought a huge quantity so they could sell at that price - they may have some more on order.

I wonder how many they've sold since the weekend  ... more to the point - I wonder how many lots of 62p have gone to Fife Rabbit Rescue :D

I buy the panacur paste from VetUK to worm my buns :)

http://www.vetuk.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1105

If you spend over 15 its free delivery, so if you buy that and a snugglesafe the same time you wont have to pay postage :D xXx

20-01-2010, 09:23 PM
The panacur paste contains 18 doses which is enough for 9 days of treatment for a bun over 2.5kg or 18 days of treatment for a bun under 2.5kg. 9 days is the preventative treatment but to treat EC you need 28 days worth.

I use the smal animal liquid, as it works out cheaper, if you have lots of buns or are treating e.c.

Awwwh!:love: We need to see pics of them all!! You will need to know their exact weights before you panacur them ;) I would buy the liquid as you have 2 big buns. You'll need to orrder a few 1ml syringes too though to give the liquid :) xXx

I found the easiest was to weigh buns is to weigh myself, then weigh myself holding the bun and work out the difference. you could do the same with bun in their carrier

I will post pics tomorrow :D I do have pics of the dwarf lops in a signature I have but it wont accept it on here.??

I used to have the baby weighing scales up until recently...knew I should not have got rid of them!!!

I wil have a go at weighing them once the frenchies settled in a bit!!
