Porriage

Bungle bunny

Mama Doe
I have started giving my buns porriage for breakfast with chopped apple and carrot in it, they all love it and its gone pretty quick. I make enough so that there is a good desert spoon full each and then the veg on top.

What is the right amount? How much do you give yours? How often?

Soo many questions :D

I gave it to my Bertie when she was underweight, if I were you I would perhaps only give it as a treat or you will have some fatty buns!

I too only used it once, when my girl Poppy was excessively underweight. I wouldnt use it regularly as it just fills them up to discourage hay eating.

If you want to give them something warm for breakfast, you could always mix their pellet ration with water (make sure it's properly boiled and then cools though). This goes down a treat with my buns.
