Metacam

Hello,
Please can someone advise the doesage. The bottle states 4 drops twice a day???
We went for 11am and 5pm but then in the morning was back to square one....should it be once every 12 hours or more frequent???

If you've been told to give it twice a day, you should try and get it as near to 12 hours apart as possible, otherwise you'll have much greater peaks and troughs in the amount of painkiller in the bloodstream. If you do 5pm and then not again until 11am, that's 18 hours between two of the doses so the painkilling effect will have worn off much more by the time you do the next dose. Try and do 8am and 8pm, or 9am and 9pm or something like that

Hoping everything is okay and you have spoken to the vet about possibly increasing metacam dose and evenly spacing them.
