if you have read a thread or two about Pierre you might remember that the roots of his molars were massively overgrown causing infection in his jaw and his molars on the top left to fallout. his bottom ones remained but would need burring on a regular basis to prevent them becoming over grown. the infection ment that Pierre would be on antibiotics for the rest of his life.
yesterday Pierre went in for a dental to burr the remaining molars on his left had side unfortunatly the vet diiscovered that the infection has weakened to bone surrounding the lower molars (which are now loose) ..meaning she was unable to bur them (and reluctant to try to remove them entirely) as she believed this could cause his jaw to fracture or splinter.
Pierre has been reffered to a specialist who we will be seeing on thursday.
Pierre is still bright and happy in himself, he is eating well and yesterday was binking around the living room and i will do everything to help him fight this for as long as he is happy but i just dont know how much anyone will be able to for my boy. i don't want to lose him.
serious vibes for my brave little man please.
