I know that with horses, people give them haylage as it has stuff added to it to help them, so why don't we give them to elderly disabled bunnies etc?

what is added to the haylade?
and in what way does it make the horses better?
Also the quantities for a horse per hay bale would surely be different for a rabbit?

Yeah Haylage is fermented, which makes it bad for buns

I think it continues fermenting in their stomach and causes gas

I know some people feed it to horses but i was always told it wasn't recommended so i don't think i'd risk it with buns either. :?
