Septrin and Snuffles...any good?

Veronica

Mama Doe
Snowy has been prescribed Septrin for his snuffles after seeing the vet this evening again. Is this antibiotic any good?

Molly was the same, baytril did nothing for her either.
I found the septrin works well, she was on it for about 2 months, every now and again she has a flare up, but I just keep a bottle handy for when this happens.

Good luck,
Its a horrible thing to have to have to deal with.
Oh, bisolven works well too if you arent already using it

What's that? I've never heard of it before.
Yeah it's not great, but he's a little fighter so we'll fight it together  :D

Its a powder that basically thins out the mucous/discharge making it easier for them to pass and easier to breathe.
It just mixes with water and they love it.
You can get it from the vet.

Pickles has just got over pneumonia, although she is still a little bit snuffly.

She was on Baytril and Septrin for over a month along with bio lapis and bisolven.

She still has the bisolven and I just sprinkle a pinch on her veg each day.
