Sitting in urine

I had this with my Stan when he got old, he'd sit in urine and his legs and tail would get soaked. Is there anything you can do to prevent bunnies sitting in urine? Especially if they're not litter trained bunnies?

It's usually the sign of an underlying medical problem eg arthritis, bladder infection etc. so the best way to stop it is to identify and treat the problem.

Never to late to start litter training...

And whilst health problems being sorted out, use an ultra-absorbent lining in the hutch or litter tray, eg, something like puppy pads. And bedding like vetbed or profleece which wicks moisture to the bottom (but will still need changing and washing daily at least).
