We buy nuts once a year at Christmas but it doen't matter where Toby Rabbit is in the house, he only needs to hear that very first crack of a nut in those crackers & that furry little mugger hurtles in the room & catapults himself on your chest to try to nick the nut.
We have to keep the nuts in a tin as he runs off with them all the time. When he is in one of his comatosed sleeps we try to sneak one out of the tin but he only needs to hear those nuts bumping & knocking together & he's wide awake crossing the room as fast as a bullet, often jumping straight into the tin.
