Levels in indoor cages

i use my cages as levels. they're in an enclosure made of two puppy pens, with covers over the cage bars so little feet don't get trapped.

I use the thickest plywood, drill holes in the edges then put in place with a large washer and screw to hold it to the bars. It is completely solid and makes the cages more stable :)

That sounds like a good idea Liz - I'll try it. Hoping to adopt Gubbins the guinea from Jill at Honeybunnies :D. I've got the biggest indoor cage I could find at almost 5ftx2ft6" (£97 from Jolleys - bargain!!) and although it's already got one floor via a stupid 'un-usable-even-for-rabbits' ladder, there's plenty of headroom to make another floor. I'll need to make a new ladder too
