I have been to langford with my bunnies.Richard Saunders wasnt there when I went but he is a brilliant bunny vet.The bunny clinic is on Wednesdays,Good luck:wave::wave::wave::wave:

Hi, I use Acorns vet in Alvechurch and the other branch in Studley, as does the rescue, and we use Christine for surgery and they have a guy (maybe called Pete) that specialises in dental work.

It might be worth calling and speaking to Chris to explain the situation and see if she's able to help?

What about the vet that Alice Chamberlain uses, that would be closer and presumably they see a lot of bunnies? There's also a vet somewhere over that way called Jason, I forget who uses him (Lizzie?) who comes highly praised. I can't remember much more detail than that I'm afraid but hopefully it will ring bells with someone else...

Specialist in what? or is it just general?

FHB isn't working at the moment as she has a medical condition, they aren't taking anymore referrals at the moment either, hopefully that will change soon

Jason Bugess has been my vet for about 15years and is brilliant.

His technical knowledge is excellent and he is kind and gentle with the rabbits.
He is most definitely rabbit savvy.
He would listen to the rabbits owner and he would have no qualms about consulting other rabbit savvy vets like FHB for unusual cases.-sue:wave:

Jason is a specialist in exotic pets but in particular rabbits and all aspects of rabbit care-GA etc.(He speyed Sooty when she was 9yrs no probs and routinely does dental ops on older buns).

He once saved a pet african snail of ours called Boris.
I slipped and fell and Boris's shell broke with a 50p size piece missing and lots of fluid leaking. Jason gave me instructions over the phone. (I had sellotaped over the hole,) while my husband cut part of a pop bottle then removed sellotape and araldite glued the plastic circle over the hole in the shell quickly to stop the leak. Boris lived to a ripe old age with the plastic circle being pushed off when new shell formed underneath(as Jason said it would). Some vets may have shrugged and said "its only a snail..." but Jason is a true professional.
