Wise Old Thumper
This is me and my horse 'Roana' she was a strawberry roan mare.
It didn't matter where she was in the field as soon as I called her or she would see me she would come cantering over.
I use to work on this stable yard, I'd sweep that yard from one end to the other and muck horses out and it was hard work but I loved every minute of it.
This is Roana with her best friend and stable mate 'Breezy' who was a fantastic jumper although she had only one eye.
This is Roana at a local horse show in the Summer of 1975, you can't miss her as she's the biggest horse in the line.

Me on my friends horse 'Chisholm' in 1992. Chisholm was a Blackpool landau horse and my friend bought him to save him from having to pull landaus along the Prom ever again. He was about 17'hands high.
It was 21 years ago on November 5th since I had to have her pts as she was very old and had emphysemia she was well over 30.My 22 years with her were by far the best years of my life and I still miss her today so very much. In my attic I have her saddle and bridle, grooming kit, hay net's and even her water buckets and feeding buckets. I just couldn't part with any of it.
