 hello all
bit of good news for people in the south-west. Thanks to woodside animal sacntrey i was put onto woodlands vets in ivybridge where they have a vet called jane who has a great knowledge of rabbits [and is a rabbit owner herself] she takes her time to explain everything and really is great at handling the bunnies etc and treats them the way you would be happy for them to be treated. She even goes as far as to put a carpet mat on the table for them to come out onto so they don't slip and slide. when / if she has to get them out of their carriers she quietly removes the top of the carrier and lifts them out and gives them a cuddle. when she weighs them she puts a soft towel in the scales so the bunny feels safe..
Now although she says she is not a 'specialist' she is VERY good and kind and seems to know her way around a rabbit. would recommend her to anyone
