Hugo's There
Wise Old Thumper
I have dropped Fern off at the vets this morning for a GA, and as she is nearly 8 years and a frenchie we are very worried. Also the last few days she has not seemed herself
She was originally going in for a dental but I am not convinced that is her main problem. Bloods have come back clear, but the vet I saw this morning also thinks something else is going on so we are having chest and abdominal x-rays taken first.
The vet questioned her quality of life and if anything susupicious does show in the x-rays we will probably let her go while she is under
If nothing does then we will bring her home and see how she goes over the next week.
We are so worried as obviously the GA in itself is a big risk and now we have x-ray results to worry about. But we had to do something for her as there is definately something wrong
I have had Fern since she was 4 months old
