Teddy's weight loss

RubyTed

Wise Old Thumper
Just made an appointment for my boy as he's been losing weight around his spine, and his coat isn't as glossy as it was. He's nomming all his food and hay, so I was just wondering what could have contributed to the loss of condition and weight.

Any ideas what it could be? His tummy is normal, it's just his back..

...A consultation is....£30!!!:shock::shock::shock:

What do your vets charge for a consultation?!

:shock::shock::shock:

£16 for buns and I thought that was steep. :?

It's a different branch to the one that he goes to, but they are the same practice....could that be why? I've never asked the cost....not sure I've ever had to take the buns for anything other than jabs...:roll::roll:Teddy WOULD be expensive!

£38.00 with my rabbit specialist. :( Hope poor Teddy is ok!:cry:

I think he's fine...but am being over-protective mummy!! He's still his usual self, but as he's eating normally and has lost the weight thought it would be better to get it checked out before it turns into something sinister!

I pay £11.20 for a bunny consult!!
I would love to be able to tell you whats up with Teds,but I cant.Really hope hes ok.He has a wedding to go to next friday!!!!!

I would imagine the charges are the same, no matter which branch. Fees vary greatly; I'm always surprised by some of the answers when questions like this come up though. :shock:

I think he's fine. Just something I've noticed over the past few days. It's for my peace of mind really, for before we move and get Ruby.

I've been advised from his breeder to bag up a few poos with him to be tested. She says it's precautionary, but it's starting to make me worry!:roll::roll:
