Wet Hay

Can you dry out wet hay? I stupidly left my hay bin lid up today and we have had torrential rain - it will all be soaked through...

Should I just bin it all, or try and dry it out and if so, how?

I feed my horses soaked hay, gets rid of the dust
I don't think a bun could eat it wet but I know you can dry it as many times I've soaked a haynet, put it in her stable, left her in the field of the week and the hay is bone dry so I have to soak it again!

vet told me it is ok to feed wet hay (gets rid of the dust) but you have to change it really frequently and wet it just before you feed it.

so i would personally throw it away.

You'd have to feed it wet, alot of hay goes stale/mouldy if it gets soaked again, you'd need alot of room and to turn it regulary to try and save it.
