Recovery Diet and PetPlan

Hoppit!

Wise Old Thumper
Does anyone know if PetPlan will pay for it? Ginger's going through a pack and a half a day at the moment, just to try and keep him alive (don't worry, I'm not trying to prolong his suffering - his has a great quality of life still). Anyway, at £2 a pack that's working out kinda expensive!

Anyone know?

Got this from their terms and conditions on their website in the bit of what they do not cover

The cost of any food (including food prescribed by a vet)
unless it is:
•Used to dissolve existing bladder stones and crystals in
urine, which is limited to a maximum of 40% of the cost
of food for up to 6 months. The cost of this food is only
covered for the first occurrence of bladder stones and
crystals; wewill not pay for the cost of this food if the
bladder stones or crystals recur.
•Liquid food, used for up to 5 days while your petis
hospitalised at a veterinary practice, providing the vet
confirms the use of the liquid food is essential to keep
your petalive.
