  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

On advice from here I would like to get Radish spayed at a bun savvy vets and wondered if someone could recommend a good vets in or around Milton Keynes.

Thanks

Hi
I use Milton Keynes Veterinary Group, usually go to the walnut tree one, they have operated on my bunny and treated him from abcesses over the last few years and I have always found them very good.

That's really reassuring as that's who I registered with (Walnut Tree one too) and Radish is having her jabs with.

I just wanted to be sure she was in good hands :D

Thanks

Alternatively, if you don't mind a half-hour drive, I go to the Cat and Rabbit Care Clinic in Duston, Northampton. They are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G and as the name suggests, treat only cats and rabbits. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Liz (Hugo's There) has used one particular vet at the MK Veterinary Group who 'specialises' in rabbits. I can't remember the vet's name but if you PM Liz, she'll be able to tell you.

Spinney Lodge Vets, Kettering Road, Northampton have a great small animal vet too. My bunny was neutered there last week. Good luck!!

I second this. Uncle Simon is wonderful  Carlton loves getting fussings from him!

Another vote for Cat & Rabbit Clinic in Duston, Northampton. I had Nessa spayed there, fantastic op. Been in today as well as Buster has head tilt  fantastic care yet again.
