Ramp and hole size in a rydale double hutch?

Anyone find the gap to go between the hutches and the ramp very small in their Rydale hutches? I did not intend to use the ramp when I got the hutch and obviously didn't pay much attention to the size of it at the time, but just went and got the ramp out of the shed and am surprised at the size

There is no chance Beau is going to get through there, and the ramp is so narrow. He is a medium size bunny, only slightly bigger than Trip and Scarlett. I am going to have to make the hole bigger and either make or buy another ramp I think. Has anyone else had to do this? I love the hutch, just think the hole is way to small
