Not that hard, especially if you rope in someone DIY handy to do it.
I just typed 'we' but can't actually claim the credit, my dad sorted out our hutches. They have roffing flet all on the roof, down the sides and round the back (which protects from the rind and any sort of rain at all), and on the front they have roll down and roll up plastics which clip down and so can be rolled down or up or dropped over depending on the weather. Takes asbout 15 mins to do each one of those.
I use a plastic tarpaulin - the cheapest. I tuck it around the front of the hutch and create a bit more shelter during the day, and drop it down overnight
Not glam, but it works.
