Treated wood!

Just hoping for a bit of advice. I have bought treated wood (it's a greeny colour) to build a rabbit run with. My dad popped round this evening and thinks it might be toxic to bunnies?! Typical! It's all cut and ready to be built!

My run looks a bit green when it went up. Most decent wood is tanalinised. pressure treated, so it has a longer life outside.

I have since cover it with a ronseal, animal safe wood treatment too.

I have used this type of wood before without a problem. I used another safe stain/paint on top of it. It probably would be toxic in large quantities but hopefully your buns won't be eating much of it. They tend to chew wood rather than eat it.
