Do I need to use a pro biotic?

My little Brian is going to be on antibiotics for quite some time for his snotty nose. (Septrin at the moment) He seems to be slowly improving, but do you think he should be on a probiotic whilst on the meds? His poops are normal and plentiful right now,as always.
If yes, which ones would you reccomend for long term use.

Mine always have pro-biotic i just buy the powder one form PAH cant remember what its called, pop it in their water, they love it.

I give 'Avipro' to my 2 buns, I get it from my vets (I claim the cost back on my insurance) as one of my buns is a dental bun and is on AB's all the time. Without being on the probiotic he gets an upset tummy every couple of weeks but having the Avipro once a day he doesn't get an upset tummy at all
